Dr. Rhinegold is a graduate of Renelar Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College. He received his post-graduate medical training in cardiology at Algers Memorial Hospital, where he trained in cardiovascular disease, and also served as its chief medical resident.

Dr. Rhinegold’s clinical interests are in the management of coronary heart disease and in congestive heart failure. His research interests have focused on the control of peripheral vascular tone. He currently is involved in the investigation of the vascular physiology involved in heart failure, and in the role that vascular reactivity plays in the treatment of chronic heart failure.
